Weather is My Story

I’ve been forecasting and breaking down weather events in Virginia for over 30 years and when I was little, I admired everything weather.

In my online streams and weather content, I explain and sort out the madness of the weather in a way you can understand it.

I use pattern recognition and common sense forecasting techniques that I have developed myself over the years with the talents God has given me.

I have a degree in Atmospheric Sciences from the University of North Carolina at Asheville and have worked for several TV and radio stations in the Roanoke/Lynchburg market including WSLS-TV and WSET-TV.

It hasn’t always been easy

While I’ve had my share of struggles over the years, I know that my faith has gotten me through a lot over that time, along with my family and close friends.

During these struggles, the community has helped me in many ways and I am forever grateful for their support, I’ve learned to value each and every one of them!

Behind the Scenes

While much of what I do is present weather to the public, there is a huge of amount of my time that you don’t see, which included preperation in forecasts, maps, collecting data (which is costly at times) and creating forecasts based on my knowledge.
